Lasantha is our rock-solid, take-charge COO. Focused, determined, and absolutely relentless when it comes to getting things done, he’s the go-to guy when something must happen, no matter how impossible it seems. In fact, as long as Lasantha’s in the picture, there’s very little (if anything) the Ceylestial team can’t handle. Subha, on the other hand, is pure sunshine—warm, thoughtful, and effortlessly graceful, she brings the soul to every celebration we plan. Think logistics meets love story—and you’ve got their magic formula. With decades of experience running hotels, managing teams of hundreds, and hosting more weddings than we can count, they’ve navigated it all like seasoned pros. And thanks to the many friends and connections they’ve made over the years, they always “know a guy” (or girl) who can make your wildest wedding wish come true—from sourcing rare blooms to unlocking the most exclusive venues. They had every intention of slowing down and taking it easy… until their daughter (yes, that daughter—our founder) lovingly dragged them right back into the thick of the wedding world. Turns out, they’re having the time of their lives. Together, they’re the steady hands and bright energy behind so much of what makes Ceylestial run smoothly. It’s love, loyalty, and a whole lot of lived experience, all wrapped up in two very Sri Lankan legends. (Some say the real secret to a perfect wedding? Subha’s tea and Lasantha’s “don’t-worry-I-got-it” attitude. We’re not denying it.)

From website wizardry and social media strategy to troubleshooting tech glitches (and trust us, there have been a few!), he’s the calm, determined force who never gives up until every problem is solved—often sacrificing sleep and sanity along the way. If there’s a bug in the system or a last-minute digital hiccup, you can bet Buthesh is the one burning the midnight oil until it’s fixed (and sometimes the next night too). More of a behind-the-scenes mastermind than a social butterfly, Buthesh prefers to let his work do the talking. He’s Sadeesha’s go-to guy, her right hand as CDO, and one hell of a brother who would drop everything for his sister without a second thought. Beyond the tech, he brings fresh ideas and flawless execution to the table—whether that’s building a stunning wedding website, managing online guest lists, creating digital invitations, or making sure RSVPs flow in smoothly. At Ceylestial, Buthesh’s quiet dedication and digital genius make sure the magic never skips a beat—so you can focus on what truly matters: celebrating love.

His “job” is to rigorously test every dish (which mostly means sampling everything within arm’s reach) and sharing his brutally honest—and often hilarious—judgments. If Linush gives it a thumbs up, consider it officially delicious in Ceylestial circles. But Linush isn’t just about food (well, mostly he is). He’s also the team’s rookie video editor, diving headfirst into learning how to make wedding reels shine—all for his beloved “Akki” (aka sister, Sadeesha). He’s cheeky, curious, and always ready to be part of the action, which means he’s pretty much the unofficial mascot of Ceylestial Weddings. Between snacking and video edits, Linush keeps the team laughing and the energy high. Just don’t leave desserts unattended around him—you’ll find him “testing” them again… for quality control, obviously

A true romantic in every sense, Anthony lives and breathes the belief that love can conquer all—and he shows it every single day. Always by his wife’s side, Anthony is her calm in the storm, her steady support in every season. From helping brainstorm ideas to quietly picking up the pieces when things get overwhelming, he does it all with unmatched devotion and unwavering love. Whether he’s cheering her on, helping with strategy, or just making sure she’s eaten during a 12-hour workday, Anthony’s presence is constant, grounding, and gentle. Affectionately known as our Disney Prince, he genuinely believes love can solve just about anything—traffic, taxes, even tech glitches. We’re not sure it works every time, but his eternal faith in love keeps his wife from falling apart... which, let’s be honest, keeps everyone safe from the aftermath!
